I never expected my visit to The Salvation Army Kroc Center to leave me feeling so disappointed. After hearing great things about their facilities, I decided to check out the lobby. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I anticipated. I encountered a staff member who was not just unhelpful but also seemed to mock my questions. Honestly, it felt more like a bad high school experience than a nurturing community center. I think there’s a real need for improvement when it comes to staff sensitivity and discretion. I walked away feeling more alienated than welcomed, which is not what I think anyone hopes for when looking for a supportive environment. I hope they can boost their customer service to match the great programs they offer, like the swim lessons and personal training.

As soon as I walked into this tournament facility in South Mountain Village, I was impressed. The cleanliness was top-notch, which is always a plus when you're spending a day at an event. Not only that, but parking was a breeze, making it super convenient for everyone attending. While the staff were busy tending to the many demands of the day, they remained effective and friendly. The only thing I might suggest is that the concession stand could use a bit more change to speed up transactions, but overall, my experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back for more tournaments!
