When I first reached out for help for my son, I was hopeful that we'd find some guidance with mental health services in Munster. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. The virtual appointment felt disorganized, almost as if my son's needs were an afterthought. I struggled to get clear communication about the appointment details, and when the day finally came, the session was delayed with no real explanation provided. It left both my son and me feeling frustrated and let down. We were searching for understanding and support, but it felt more like we were just another number in a busy system. Improving their communication and ensuring timely services could make a huge difference for families seeking help. I'm definitely in search of alternatives now.

Once I stepped into Mid America Mental Health, I was filled with hope for obtaining my medical clearance letter for ADHD medication, but my experience was less than ideal. The practitioner, Carly, was knowledgeable, but I found the front desk staff to be quite frustrating. Their communication was lacking and at times, they came off as rude, which left me feeling more confused than assisted. I had hoped to walk out with clarity, but instead, I was left feeling disappointed. I really think that improving the competency and manner of the front desk staff would go a long way in making the entire experience smoother for patients. It’s tough to navigate mental health care, and a little kindness can make a significant difference.
