The first thing that struck me about the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders was how friendly and welcoming the staff were. I’ve been battling a lifelong medical phobia that has caused me endless anxiety, and I finally decided it was time to tackle it head-on. I opted for exposure therapy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My therapist was a student in training, yet they guided me with such care and enthusiasm—making what seemed impossible feel achievable. After several sessions, I walked away feeling empowered, calm, and most importantly, free from the dread that used to consume me at the thought of medical situations. Now, facing these scenarios feels manageable, and I can finally breathe easy knowing I have the skills to cope. If you’re looking to confront your anxieties, you absolutely need to check out CARD. They’ve truly changed my life!

After just a few moments in the intake process at this center in Boston, I was left feeling a bit disappointed. The staff seemed rather cold and their responses felt scripted, which didn't create the warm and welcoming atmosphere I had hoped for. I came in with the expectation that I would find the right support, but ultimately, it became clear that the program wasn’t a good fit for me. I think some additional training for the screeners could really help improve the experience for future patients. It's unfortunate, as I know that finding the right mental health support can be challenging. I appreciate the services offered, but I just wish the initial interaction had been more personable.

I’ve been working through the Anxiety Management Program at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders in Boston, and I have to say, it's been a game changer for me. Each session offers practical tools that have not only helped me manage my anxiety but also boosted my productivity in daily life. The clinicians here are outstanding—genuinely caring and incredibly insightful. I never thought I'd look forward to therapy, but the environment they’ve created makes it feel less like a chore and more like a supportive community. It's refreshing to unpack my feelings around such a friendly group of professionals. Honestly, I feel equipped to tackle my challenges now, and that’s something I couldn’t say a few months ago. If you’re in Boston and looking for real support, I highly recommend checking them out!
