To say I’m a little mixed about my experience would be an understatement. I recently had a therapy session with Shannon, and while she was insightful and offered some good perspective, I left feeling a tad disappointed. The session was definitely constructive, helping me unpack some of my thoughts; however, I felt the scheduling left something to be desired. It took quite a while to get an appointment, and it seems like things could flow more smoothly. I do appreciate the support I got, but I hope they can improve the scheduling process for future visits. Overall, I think there’s great potential here; I’m just hoping for a more streamlined experience next time!

I didn’t expect my experience to be so mixed. The therapist I worked with was excellent and really attentive during the sessions, but I found the communication around scheduling and fees to be frustrating. There seemed to be a lack of clarity on what to expect, and it often felt like I was left in the dark. I genuinely appreciated the insights I gained in therapy, but it would have been much smoother if the staff had shown more empathy and handled the administrative side better.

When I first started counseling with Shannon in Asheville, I genuinely felt like I was embarking on a path of healing. She was attentive and provided valuable insights that made me feel heard and understood during our sessions. However, I've encountered some frustrating experiences with their policies regarding rescheduling and late cancellations. It increased my anxiety instead of alleviating it, which was the opposite of what I had hoped for. I believe that reviewing and adjusting these policies could significantly enhance the experience for clients. While Shannon is a great counselor and has helped me in many ways, I think a little flexibility in administrative matters would go a long way in making the overall experience better.
