Customer Reviews
Alexis P.
I didn’t expect my experience at The San Diego LGBT Community Center in Hillcrest to be so frustrating. I went in seeking assistance for homelessness, hopeful that this well-known community hub would have my back. But I was met with rejection from the staff, who seemed more interested in pointing out what I didn't qualify for rather than offering any real help. It felt deceiving—like they were going through the motions without genuinely trying to support those in need. Honestly, their inept handling of my situation left me angry and bewildered. I walked away feeling more hopeless than when I arrived. I really wanted to be part of something positive, but this experience was anything but. If you're in a similar situation, I’d say to tread carefully and have low expectations.
