At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked into The Beauty Institute in Northeast Philadelphia. I was just looking for a simple haircut, but I ended up getting an experience that felt like a mini-holiday. The students were enthusiastic, and it was clear they were receiving top-notch training. After explaining my vision for a fresh style, my stylist-in-training and her instructor made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. They even taught me a few tips for maintaining my new look! The ambiance was a little chaotic, which did add to the charm, but a hint of organization wouldn’t hurt. All in all, I left feeling fabulous, and I can’t wait to return—and I didn't even break the bank! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a beauty makeover while supporting local talent!

As soon as I walked into the academy, I felt a wave of excitement and anticipation wash over me. I was eager to improve my hairdressing skills, and this place seemed perfect. The instructors were incredibly supportive, providing valuable feedback that truly helped me grow. I was thrilled to pass my exam on the first try! The camaraderie among the students made the learning environment even more enjoyable. If I had to suggest an area for improvement, I would love to see some updating in the facilities and perhaps a wider variety of vibrant hair colors for practice. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’m grateful for the skills I gained here.
