Texas Children'S Hospital

What amazed me when I visited Texas Children's Hospital for urgent care was the immediate warmth from the staff. Mr. Nick was incredibly friendly and made my little one feel right at ease, despite the fever and cough she was experiencing. Mrs. Chrissy and Mrs. Darlene were equally wonderful, providing efficient care without making us feel rushed. It felt like they genuinely cared about our comfort and wellbeing. We were in and out quickly, and the whole experience was so much smoother than I expected. I can't recommend their urgent care enough for any parent in need of pediatric medical care!

After my first visit, I hoped to find good answers for my child's persistent rash, but I left feeling quite frustrated. The wait times were longer than expected, and when we finally saw the doctor, it seemed like he was more focused on the clock than on my child's well-being. I appreciate that being a parent in Greater Heights can sometimes mean long waits, but it's crucial to feel heard in those moments. Regrettably, the consultation didn’t yield any effective solutions, and I felt rather dismissed. The staff, while polite, didn't provide the support we needed, which left me searching for answers that I thought would be available here. I really wish they could improve both the wait times and their approach to treatment prescriptions. Here's hoping they get it together for the next families who seek care.

I walked in to Texas Children's Hospital feeling a bit anxious about my daughter’s health check-up, but I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. Despite the place being busy, the staff was incredibly efficient and accommodating. From the front desk to the nurses, everyone made us feel welcomed and at ease. They handled our well-child visit with such professionalism while keeping things relaxed for my little one. It’s a relief to know there’s such a caring place nearby for our kids’ health needs!
