I never expected my experience at Taichi Bodywork Center in Philadelphia to be so disappointing. I went in hoping for a relaxing massage to alleviate some back pain I had from excessive pressure during my workouts. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem attentive to my needs at all. I specifically mentioned the areas that required gentler pressure, but it felt like they were just going through the motions. While the space was calming and the atmosphere inviting, I left feeling more discomfort than when I arrived. I wish they had taken the time to tailor the massage to my individual needs. I think with some adjustments, Taichi Bodywork Center could really enhance the experience for clients seeking pain relief.

The atmosphere felt a bit off, almost like it was more about the money than making clients feel relaxed and supported. I was really looking forward to a good massage, but the interaction with the staff left me with a nasty vibe. I felt this underlying pressure about tipping, which is something I honestly think should be a personal choice rather than an expectation. The massage itself was fine, but the whole experience felt less like a lovely escape and more like a transaction. I’d suggest a little more focus on creating a warm, welcoming environment rather than pushing for tips. Could really do with a shift in how they approach client relations!

I never expected to feel this relaxed after a massage! 😊 The whole experience was just fantastic. From the moment I walked in, the place had a calming vibe that put me in the right mindset for some serious stress relief. I went for a full body multi-modalities therapy session and it was exactly what I needed. The therapist used hot stones along with acupressure and Tui Na techniques—I could feel every muscle in my body unwinding. ❤️ My only suggestion would be to maybe have a few more staff members fluent in English to help those of us who might struggle with the language barrier. But honestly, it was such a positive experience that I can't wait to go back!
