I’d heard some mixed reviews about the addiction treatment clinic in Detroit, so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly, my experience was more frustrating than helpful. The staff seemed quite rude and unprofessional, which took away from the whole process for me. I was looking for support on my journey to overcoming addiction, but instead I felt more stress and dissatisfaction. There’s definitely potential here, but they really need to work on improving their attitudes and bedside manners. It’s tough enough dealing with these issues, and a little kindness goes a long way.
