Spa Soak

I heard about Spa Soak from a friend and decided to give their Therapeutic Massage a try while I was in Chicago. What a treat! Joi, my massage therapist, was incredibly friendly and attentive. She really knows her stuff—after the session, I felt like a new person, completely relaxed and free of the tight muscles that had been bothering me. The atmosphere was so soothing; I loved every minute. If you're looking to unwind and get some well-deserved muscle relief, you can't go wrong with Spa Soak!

While I waited for my appointment, I was excited about the promise of a relaxing massage, but my experience was a bit underwhelming. The massage itself was decent, and I could feel some tension melting away, but there were moments when I felt the staff could have been more attentive to my needs. When I mentioned a couple of areas that needed more focus, the response was a bit defensive, which left me feeling a little disappointed. I really hoped for a more welcoming approach to customer concerns. Overall, it was not a terrible experience, but I left feeling like there could be improvements in how the staff engages with clients. I guess I’ll be continuing my search for the perfect place to unwind.

I wasn’t expecting to leave Spa Soak feeling disappointed. I had booked a massage therapy session for some serious stress relief, but there seemed to be a mix-up with my therapist. Instead of getting the relaxation I needed from Jennifer, I ended up with Marta, who was not particularly friendly. The atmosphere felt off, and I couldn't shake the feeling of being just another appointment. I've had great experiences at other places, but this time everything felt rushed and lackluster. A little more consistency and kindness from the staff would go a long way. I'll probably return in hopes of having a better experience, but I was definitely let down this time.
