I had no idea what to expect when I booked a massage in Manhattan, hoping for some much-needed relaxation. The ambiance was nice, but my experience turned out to be a bit disappointing. While the therapist was skilled, there was an awkward vibe when it came to tipping. I felt pressured to give more than I was comfortable with, which really detracted from the overall experience.
