I had no idea what to expect when I made an appointment for a DoxyPEP eval at the Southwest Center. The medical staff were really attentive during my visit, which I appreciated, but the front-office interaction left much to be desired. I was disappointed when I got turned away due to their strict appointment policy—the website described the services as accessible, but it felt anything but. In an era where healthcare is increasingly urgent and various options are available, it would be great if they could incorporate some open-access slots for walk-ins. Preventive medication shouldn't feel like a challenge to get! I hope they consider this feedback for the future.
