Skyline Healthcare Center - San Jose

It didn't take long for me to realize that the conditions at this elder care facility in San Jose were far from acceptable. I was looking for a safe and compassionate environment for my family member, but unfortunately, what I found was disheartening. The staff interaction I experienced was less than professional, leaving me feeling frustrated and unsupported. It’s disappointing to see a place that’s supposed to provide care instead fall short. Management really needs to step up—more resources and improved conditions are a must. If you care about your loved ones, I strongly suggest exploring other options in Central San Jose.

I never expected to walk out feeling so frustrated. My experience at this healthcare center in Central San Jose was a real eye-opener, but not in a good way. I had some serious concerns about patient safety during my visits. The staff, particularly the nighttime nursing team, was often dismissive and at times antagonistic when I asked questions about my loved one's care. It felt like I was bothering them rather than collaborating on important care decisions. I understand that everyone has a job to do, but when you're in a healthcare setting, you hope for compassion and professionalism. Sadly, that was lacking in my interactions. It’s critical to feel heard and prioritized, but instead, I left feeling angry and anxious about the welfare of the patient in their care. I can only hope that they give more training to their staff on patient interaction and safety protocols because right now, there's a serious gap that needs urgent attention.
