The second I walked into this cozy spot in Los Feliz, I felt the stress start to melt away. Mack was the massage therapist I had, and he was amazing! To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. I went in for a massage looking to unwind after a long week in Los Feliz, and instead, I encountered an uncomfortable situation. I had specifically requested a female masseuse, but a male therapist was assigned to me without any communication about the change. The massage itself was less about relaxation and more about feeling on edge. The atmosphere was supposed to be calming, but the unprofessional behavior from the staff really ruined the experience for me. I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived, which defeats the purpose of a massage. I’d highly recommend ensuring that requests for female therapists are respected moving forward.
