I have to say, my experience at Salons by JC in Point Loma was pretty disappointing. I went in wanting to cover up some gray hairs with a nice brown dye, but what I got was a totally different shade that was way off from what I requested. I felt absolutely devastated looking in the mirror! I tried to talk to Kim about it, but her response was less than enthusiastic, which didn’t help my mood at all. I just wish they would have listened better. I think a refund for the dye would be fair since I didn't get the color I wanted. Not sure if I’ll be back, but I hope they take this feedback to heart and improve their communication. On a positive note, the place itself is cute and has a good vibe, but they really need to work on their service.

I didn’t expect to have such a disappointing experience. I walked in eager for some self-care, but the attitude of the staff really put me off. They seemed rushed and more interested in chatting among themselves than helping clients. I felt completely ignored as I waited, and when someone finally approached me, they were unfriendly and dismissive. If you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere to unwind and enjoy some pampering, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. It might be worth improving customer service and staff punctuality to create a better experience.
