I was hopeful when I first began the adolescent eating disorder program. It was a big step for me, and I genuinely wanted to get better. However, my experience left me feeling somewhat disappointed. While some staff, like Maddie and Katie, were supportive and genuinely tried to help, others didn’t come across as professional or understanding, which was tough during such a vulnerable time. The program had its strengths—energetic group sessions and some creative outlets that were refreshing—but I felt there was a significant lack of consistency in support across the board. With so many different types of eating disorders, I think a more holistic approach might have made a difference. I left wishing there had been a stronger focus on the various aspects of eating disorders, not just the general approach. Furthermore, I think the overall vibe of the place could benefit from a bit more warmth. It felt more clinical than comforting, which is not what you want when you’re hoping to heal. The activities were nice, and I did appreciate the chance to connect with nature, but it sometimes felt like they were checking boxes rather than fully committing to helping us. Honestly, with better training and perhaps a more engaged staff, I believe this place could really facilitate substantial growth for those of us in recovery. I don't regret my time, but I truly hope they can improve in these areas for future patients.

After visiting Rogers Behavioral Health for outpatient treatment, I found myself feeling a mix of relief and disappointment. While I truly appreciate the wide array of therapeutic practices they offer—like creative art therapy and yoga that I thought could aid my healing—I couldn't shake off a sense of being somewhat ostracized at times. I do wish there was better orientation from the staff to help newcomers feel more welcomed and supported. It often felt like I was reaching out into a void when I had questions or concerns. Overall, the services have potential, but I’d love to see some improvements in how the staff connects with the patients to build a more supportive community.

I’ve always loved the atmosphere here—it’s like stepping into a supportive, sunny environment where everyone genuinely wants to help. Each time I come in for my sessions, the friendly staff makes me feel right at home. The way they incorporate creative therapies, like art and movement, into the sessions really surprised me at first, but it’s amazing how it all comes together for better health and well-being. I can honestly say I feel more in tune with myself every time I leave. It’s been a great journey of improvement, and I appreciate how invested they are in helping me reach my goals!
