Planned Parenthood

After my visit to Planned Parenthood, I felt an overwhelming sense of relief. I had a health screening and ultrasound, both of which can be a little nerve-wracking, but Natalie was there every step of the way, making sure I felt well cared for and safe. Her professionalism and compassion really stood out to me; she took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions, which helped ease my anxiety. It was comforting to know that I was in such capable hands. I can't recommend their services enough, especially if you’re ever feeling anxious about a medical procedure!

I wasn't thrilled with my recent experience in Waukegan when I needed a refill for my medication. I opted for the MyChart app, thinking it would make things easier, and while I did get a response eventually, it felt slower than it should have been. I prefer to manage my meds promptly, and waiting left me a bit disappointed. Additionally, the staff I interacted with didn’t seem particularly friendly, which didn’t help the situation. I do think there's room for improvement here, especially with phone response times—sometimes a quick chat over the phone is much more reassuring. Overall, I appreciate the service offered, but it could use a bit of a morale boost, I suppose.

I’ve been through quite a lot with my severe rheumatoid arthritis, and I thought Planned Parenthood could offer me some guidance on managing my health. While the staff were somewhat friendly, I didn’t quite feel the level of care I was hoping for. My experience ultimately led to emergency surgery due to complications, which was traumatizing. I came in searching for a path to better health but left feeling unsettled and even more anxious about my situation. I appreciate the variety of services they offer, from general health advice to specific reproductive health care, but my experience was definitely not what I expected. I hope others have a more positive outcome with their specific needs.
