Sure, the ambiance was nice and the oils smelled great, but when I specifically asked for a deep tissue massage, I expected some real work on those stubborn knots! Unfortunately, I barely felt any pressure during the session. My therapist, Lee, seemed a bit distracted and didn’t really engage with me when I mentioned that I needed more intensity. It’s frustrating when you know what your body needs, and it doesn’t seem to resonate with the practitioner. I think it’s crucial for staff to be certified and skilled in deep tissue techniques, especially when clients are seeking that level of relief. Overall, I felt a bit dismissed rather than cared for. It’s such a bummer because I really wanted to love this place, but I think they need to focus more on matching the right therapist with what clients are looking for.
