I was really hoping for a positive experience at Oak Street Health, especially given how important it is for transgender individuals to feel safe and supported. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for me. The staff, particularly Margie, didn’t seem to understand the needs specific to my situation, and I felt quite disrespected during my visit. I left feeling disappointed and without the necessary support I was seeking. It’s a shame because I wanted to access their health services and truly hoped for a more inclusive atmosphere.

The moment I walked in, I hoped to feel at ease and understood about my health concerns. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite meet those expectations. While the staff tried to be accommodating, I felt uncomfortable throughout my appointment with the nurse practitioner. I was looking for some concrete advice and a plan to tackle my ongoing medical issue, but it felt like the focus was more on formalities rather than addressing my needs. I left without any clear solutions, which was disappointing. It would have made a big difference if they prioritized addressing the medical problem during the first visit instead of glossing over it. I really wanted to find a place where I could feel confident in the care I receive, but this visit left me feeling more confused than when I arrived.

I’d highly recommend Oak Street Health if you're looking for a primary care physician who truly listens. I recently switched my care to them, and it’s been a world of difference. From the moment I walked in, the staff were so caring and attentive. They took their time with my concerns and made me feel comfortable. I left feeling hopeful and well taken care of. Comprehensive care is hard to find, but these folks really nailed it. Plus, their focus on wellness services is a big bonus for me as I try to make healthier lifestyle choices. Definitely a great spot for anyone needing a personal touch in their healthcare.
