After experiencing swimming lessons at the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, I can confidently say my son absolutely loves it! 🏊♂️ He looks forward to coming every week, and it’s so great to see him having fun while learning. The instructors are super friendly and really know how to engage the kids, making each lesson exciting. The only thing I’d suggest is maybe adding a bit more seating for parents waiting; sometimes it gets a bit crowded. But overall, it’s a fantastic experience, and I’m so glad we decided to enroll!

After experiencing the taekwondo classes, I can confidently say I’ve learned so much from Sensei Nash! His expertise and passion for martial arts inspire everyone in the class. Plus, the way he emphasizes skill improvement is both motivating and fun. I also took a few art classes, which were refreshing and creative, and Coach Johnny’s swimming program has transformed my technique. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and truly care about helping you grow. I can’t recommend these classes enough for anyone looking to improve their skills while having a great time!

I must say, my experience at the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation's pool in Williamsburg was underwhelming. While the facility itself has potential, the staff's behavior left much to be desired. I felt like I was more of an inconvenience than a guest. It was disappointing to see such a lovely space marred by a lack of supervision and professionalism from the team. I occasionally look forward to a relaxing swim, but this time it just fell flat. They could really improve by investing in better staff training and supervision to enhance the overall experience.
