Mind Works

After trying out the therapy services here for my daughter, I had mixed feelings. The therapy sessions themselves were beneficial, especially the play therapy, which provided her with a safe outlet for her emotions. I could see her slowly beginning to cope with her feelings around grief. However, the front desk interaction left a bit to be desired. The staff didn’t seem particularly warm or welcoming, which I think is so important in a setting where families come to seek help. A little more acknowledgment or warmth would really enhance the overall experience. It’s a great service with a lot of potential, and I hope to see some improvements in how the front desk operates in the future.

When I first brought my child to the therapy sessions in San Antonio, I was hopeful for some positive changes in their emotional state and behavior. Initially, the environment seemed welcoming, and Dana was great at making my child feel at ease. However, as we moved forward, I started feeling a bit disappointed. The progress my child was making felt overshadowed by some frustrating communication issues. I often found myself in the dark about fees and scheduling, which added unnecessary stress to an already sensitive situation. It was a struggle to get timely responses from the management, making me wonder if I was just a number to them. Although I appreciate the efforts Dana put into helping my child navigate their feelings, I think there’s definitely room for improvement in how the team communicates with parents. It’s crucial to build a strong partnership in this journey, and I really hope they can work on being more transparent and responsive in the future. Wishing for better experiences ahead! 💔

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first took my daughter to Mind Works for Child Centered Play Therapy, but wow, it has truly been a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and made both of us feel right at home. My daughter really opened up during her sessions, and I've seen such a positive change in her ability to express her feelings. Plus, the parenting support services have given me some invaluable tools to help nurture her emotional growth. If you’re looking for a supportive place for your child to heal and grow, I can’t recommend Mind Works enough!
