What surprised me during our visit to the emergency room in Ann Arbor was the lack of communication from the staff. I took my son in during a medical emergency, and while I understood that it was a stressful time, I felt that the interaction with the nurses and doctors could have been much better. Our primary doctor, Steve, was knowledgeable, but there was a definite sense of condescension that made me feel more anxious rather than reassured. Rachelle, another staff member, seemed overwhelmed, which was understandable, but it added to the confusion. I want to emphasize the importance of clear communication, especially in an ER setting. It could make all the difference for families going through crises. I wish that everyone was more attentive, as I truly want to see improvements in our local medical services. I hope future visits can offer a better experience for both the patients and their families.

When I first visited for a cardiovascular consultation in Ann Arbor, I had high hopes. I was dealing with some concerning blood flow issues and really wanted to understand what was going on. However, my experience left me feeling quite disappointed. Although the ultrasound process was straightforward, the support I received afterwards was lacking. Nurse Practitioner York seemed rushed and didn't really take the time to address my concerns thoroughly. I felt like I was just another appointment on her schedule rather than a person needing help. It's so important to have empathetic care, especially in a health-related setting, and unfortunately, that was missing during my visit. I believe that improving the bedside manner and providing a bit more compassion could significantly enhance the experience for future patients. It's a great location with potential, but I left with more questions than answers.
