I wasn’t expecting my experience at MedMark Treatment Centers to be so frustrating. I opted for their methadone treatment, hoping it would help me on my journey to overcome my substance use issues. Unfortunately, I felt like I was just another number, rather than a person receiving care. The staff seemed disorganized, and I faced several issues with communication regarding my take-home doses. It’s frustrating when you’re trying to make progress and needed that continuity of care. Dr. Arci was my practitioner, but even his attention felt scattered and rushed. I really wanted this to work for me, but it left me feeling more lost than before.

From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the new director and nurse are incredibly dedicated to patient care and recovery. The friendly staff made me feel welcomed and understood right away. The individual counseling sessions were invaluable, helping me delve into my struggles with addiction and learn effective coping mechanisms. The focus on medication-assisted treatment really helped ease my cravings and withdrawal symptoms, allowing me to concentrate on my recovery.
