Once inside Lucky Foot Spa, I was really looking forward to some relaxation, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite hit the mark. The massage turned out to be more painful than soothing, which left me feeling a bit disappointed. The staff seemed a bit unprofessional, and I think they could really benefit from better training in customer service and massage techniques. I came in hoping for some much-needed pain relief, but I left feeling frustrated instead. I wish I could have had a better experience, as I’ve heard good things about this place. Maybe next time will be better? 🤷‍♀️

It didn’t take long for me to feel the need for some serious relaxation after a week filled with stress at work. I decided to check out a local spot in Bayside, New York, hoping for a good massage to relieve some of those annoying knots in my back. When I arrived, the ambiance was serene, with gentle music and calming decor, which instantly set the mood for some pampering. I opted for a 60-minute bodywork session, thinking I’d step out feeling like a new man. The massage started off well; the therapist seemed skilled and focused on relieving tension, but I couldn't shake off this one awkward moment. As I was getting dressed post-massage, the staff seemed overzealous in guiding me on tipping, which felt more like a sales pitch than a friendly reminder. It threw off the relaxing vibe I was looking for. In all honesty, the work on my back was fantastic, and I did feel a noticeable relief from those stubborn knots afterward. I could feel my circulation improving. However, I think the experience would be elevated if the staff interactions were a little less focused on monetary suggestions and more on ensuring a comfortable environment. So if you’re in Bayside and in dire need of a really good back rub, this spot might be worth a visit. Just be prepared for a slightly uncomfortable conversation about tips. Overall, I left feeling physically rejuvenated, but the experience was a bit mixed for me.

I can honestly say I was really looking forward to my massage, hoping for a chance to de-stress and recharge. Unfortunately, my experience with Anna ended up being pretty disappointing. The atmosphere was nice, but the massage itself felt rushed and lacking in technique. I left feeling more tense than when I arrived! I think I’ll be trying someone else next time.
