After my session at Lifeworks Counseling Center, I left feeling more frustrated than before. I was hoping to get the mental health support I really needed, but the experience was disappointing. The therapist seemed to be more focused on sharing personal stories rather than listening to my concerns. It felt like I was being compared rather than understood, which made it hard for me to engage. I think there’s a lot of potential here, but I believe they need to improve their listening skills and focus on the client's needs instead. I really wanted this to be a safe space for me, but unfortunately, it just didn’t work out that way.

I’d highly recommend doing thorough research before choosing this place. Upon entering, I felt a little uneasy with the atmosphere. While Carolyn seemed knowledgeable, I left feeling disappointed as my concerns weren't really addressed in a way that felt supportive. Instead of getting a clear diagnosis or treatment plan, it seemed more like a judgment than a conversation. I expected some helpful strategies for my issues, but that didn’t happen, and unfortunately, I didn’t feel any resolution to my problems. I think it might benefit from a bit of improvement in client interaction and a more tailored approach.
