Since my visit to a doctor in Central Northwest Houston, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, the doctor I saw really knew his stuff and answered all my questions thoroughly, which I appreciated. However, I did feel a little overwhelmed by the environment in the Kelsey building—it wasn’t as welcoming as I had hoped. A friend mentioned that they should consider making it more patient-friendly and perhaps provide a directory of doctors to help navigate the options better. Overall, I left with my health concerns addressed, but the experience could be improved.

If you’re considering a visit to the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, I say proceed with caution. I recently went in for what I thought would be a straightforward medical consultation, aimed at getting a health screening. Unfortunately, I walked out feeling more confused and frustrated than informed. The unexpected charges caught me off guard, and I felt that my concerns about my health were somewhat dismissed by the staff. Although Dr. Koo tried to be helpful, I left with more questions than answers. I really think they need to work on how they communicate costs upfront and ensure that patients feel genuinely cared for. It’s a bummer because I was looking forward to getting the help I needed for my health, but the experience left me disappointed.
