I was really looking forward to my appointment with Dr. Scaven, hoping to finally get the care I needed. However, my experience was quite disappointing. Right from the beginning, I felt that the interaction was unprofessional and a bit rushed, which made me feel undervalued as a patient. While I appreciate the medical expertise, kindness and compassion are essential in healthcare, especially during times when you're feeling vulnerable. Instead of feeling heard and supported, I left with a sense of frustration and doubt about the care I would be receiving moving forward. It's tough when you just want someone to be there for you, and this visit didn't fulfill that need at all.

I walked into Jefferson Health in Tacony with the hope of finding a reliable primary care physician, but my experience left a bit to be desired. Sure, the facility itself was clean, and the staff seemed friendly at first, but I ran into a lot of issues with availability. After a couple of appointments, I noticed that it wasn’t easy to get scheduled. I often found myself on hold, frustrated, as I tried to reach out to get the consistent care I was hoping for. It’s just disheartening when you want to focus on your health and can’t seem to get through to someone who can help. I get it; they probably need more staff, but I expected a bit more from a place that’s recognized for chronic disease management and other health services. If they can address this availability issue, I might reconsider, but for now, I’ll be looking elsewhere.

I really wish they would streamline their processes to ensure that patients are not just seen, but also genuinely cared for. It’s important to feel valued and heard when seeking medical help, and unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience.
