There’s something to be said about feeling comfortable during a therapy session, especially one as sensitive as pelvic floor therapy. I went in with hope, looking for some therapeutic support, but my experience was less than ideal. The practitioner, an older lady with short brown hair, seemed knowledgeable, but the interactions felt a bit inappropriate when discussing my personal situation. I honestly expected a bit more sensitivity from the staff, considering the nature of the therapy. This led to me stopping the sessions altogether, and it’s disappointing because I really wanted to make progress. If they could show a bit more understanding and compassion, I think this service could greatly benefit many people.
