Once I visited HonorHealth for a nurse practitioner appointment, I walked in with a cough that had been lingering for weeks. My hope was to finally get some relief, but I left feeling pretty frustrated. The nurse practitioner I saw didn’t seem to take the time to really listen to my symptoms. I was diagnosed with a general respiratory issue, but the treatment felt vague. No medication was prescribed even though I suspected bronchitis. It was really disheartening because I felt like I was just another number and not a patient with real concerns. I think they truly need to improve on their follow-up communication to make sure patients feel heard and cared for. I still believe in their mission, but I really hope they can work on their diagnosis process to prevent this from happening to others.
