Happy Nails & Spa

I’ve been going to Happy Nails & Spa in Marina Del Rey for my gel mani/pedi occasionally, hoping to find my go-to nail spot. The atmosphere is pleasant, and I love the idea of treating myself after a long week, but I was a bit disappointed with my recent experience. The staff seemed rushed, and I felt like my nails were not given the attention they deserved. I had my heart set on a beautiful gel manicure, but the application felt a bit sloppy and not up to par with what I'd expected from a spa that emphasizes quality. It would really help if they took more time with each client and maybe used gentler products, as my nails felt a bit sensitive afterward. I do appreciate their efforts, but I think there’s definitely room for improvement if they want to keep loyal customers like me coming back. Overall, the location is nice, but I left feeling less than satisfied with my nail care.

After my session in Marina Del Rey, I found myself in a bit of a conundrum. The nail services were good—I'll give them that—but the atmosphere felt a bit off, not exactly the bubbly spa experience I was hoping for. I was really excited to get my nails done and treat myself, but the lady at the front desk could have used a little less caffeine or something, because she was not the friendliest. I mean, we all have our days, right? But a smile never hurt anyone! The manicurist was pleasant enough, and she did a solid job, but there was just a lack of warmth that made it feel more like a conveyor belt than a pampering session. They could really boost their vibe with a sprinkle of kindness. All in all, my nails looked fabulous, but I can’t help but feel like there’s room for improvement in the customer service department. I’d consider giving it another shot, especially being so close to the beach!
