After visiting GRACE Grapevine for food assistance, I walked away feeling frustrated. I was in a tight spot financially and hoped to receive some support, but the assistance I got was minimal—just a few canned goods and some socks. I had expected more help, given what I had heard about their programs. The staff interaction didn't help either; the woman I spoke with didn't seem very understanding or respectful, which only added to my disappointment. I really think they could improve their support process and foster a more compassionate atmosphere for those of us in need.
