While I waited in the emergency room in Dyer, Indiana, I was hoping for a swift visit, given my recent experience with dehydration. Instead, it turned into a frustrating ordeal. I understand that emergencies happen and staff can be overwhelmed, but the lack of communication was disheartening. I could see the medical staff busy with other patients, but it felt like my concerns were being overlooked. A few updates on wait times and explanations would have gone a long way to ease my worries. I needed care and clarity, and unfortunately, that experience didn’t meet my expectations. I really hope they can find ways to enhance their communication and improve the overall efficiency for patients in the future.
