Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa

Once I visited Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa for a couples massage, I was really looking forward to a day of relaxation. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the amenities are lovely, which made me excited to bask in the whole experience. However, I was slightly disappointed with a few aspects. While the massage itself was enjoyable, the experience was marred a bit by the cleanliness of the sauna and showers—they could definitely use some attention. Also, I wasn't a fan of having my hair and scalp massaged during the treatment; I prefer to keep my hair product-free for a while. On the bright side, we did take advantage of the pool and had some tasty food at the hotel afterward, which made for a nice ending to our day. Overall, there are great elements here, but with a few tweaks, it could be so much better!

The relaxing scents and soothing touch made it an indulgent escape from my daily routine. Once the treatment was over, my skin was glowing like never before—I caught myself admiring my reflection throughout the day! It felt amazing for an entire week afterward, and I found myself smiling every time I looked in the mirror. If you're looking to treat yourself to some well-deserved pampering, you will love this experience. I’m already planning my next visit!

I also took part in a weekend yoga and sound bath session, which was such a unique experience. The sound of the bowls resonating throughout the room was both calming and rejuvenating. My only suggestion would be to call for appointments since I had a bit of trouble navigating the website. But trust me, the relaxation and inner peace I gained from this place make it all worth it. I can’t wait to visit again for my next dose of wellness!
