When I first visited Encompass Health, I had high hopes for my elderly relative's care. However, I was disappointed to find that the staff seemed unresponsive to both our needs and the needs of the other residents. It felt like we were just another number rather than individuals deserving quality care. I believe they really need to step up their game in terms of responsiveness and personal attention. After all, we want our loved ones to receive the best care possible, right? I hope they take this feedback seriously because I truly want to see improvements! ❤️

When I first reached out to Encompass Health in San Antonio’s Northwest Side, I hoped for a supportive team to help my loved one through a challenging time. Unfortunately, my experience hasn’t lived up to those expectations. The rehabilitation services, particularly after my relative’s accident, felt disjointed. Communication was frustratingly poor; I felt like I needed a treasure map to figure out who to talk to about our care plan! I genuinely wanted to be involved, as I know family support is crucial to recovery, but it felt like my input was not prioritized. It would have made such a difference to have clearer channels of communication and better coordination between staff. There’s a sense that while the medical staff may be qualified, the continuity of care is lacking. If they could improve in that area—especially by including families in discussions—or maybe just being more consistent with updates, they could truly provide better support for people in need of rehabilitation services. I’ll definitely be expressing these concerns as I believe in their potential. Hoping for a turnaround!
