I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Elysian Boutique Heights. Nestled in the Greater Heights area of Houston, this charming spot is a haven for anyone seeking a little personal pampering. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff, especially Jocelyn, who took the time to understand what I was looking for. I indulged in their salon services and truly received excellent care. My hair has never felt healthier! Each visit is like a mini-escape, and I can’t wait to return for more relaxation and rejuvenation.

Before leaving, I had high hopes for a relaxing and rejuvenating manicure and pedicure, but unfortunately, my experience was rather disappointing. I’ve visited a few places around town for nail care, but this one really just missed the mark for me. The cleanliness seemed to be an issue right from the start; I noticed that some of the tools didn't look as well-maintained as I’d expect. It’s always a little unsettling when you feel the environment isn't up to par, especially in a personal care space. The staff, while friendly enough, didn’t quite work well as a team, leading to some awkward moments and delays that soured the experience. I really wanted to just sit back and enjoy the pampering, but the interruptions and lack of coordination really held me back. It felt like they were a bit overwhelmed, which is understandable, but that shouldn’t affect the client experience. If they're able to tighten up their processes and focus more on cleanliness, I believe they could create a much better environment for clients. For now, though, I think I’ll be looking elsewhere for my next nail care session.

I was hit with a request for a deposit, which honestly caught me by surprise. If I had known that upfront, I might have been more prepared. The staff's communication could use some serious improvement—Lynda, the practitioner I tried to book with, didn’t really help me understand the reasons behind the deposit. So, rather than enjoying a day of beauty services and wellness treatments, I ended up cancelling and leaving a bit frustrated. I really wanted to love it, but a little clearer communication would go a long way.
