I must say, my experience at Dr. Bernett L. Johnson Sayre Health Center in West Philadelphia was quite frustrating. I had scheduled an appointment for the updated Omicron-based COVID vaccine, and I had even confirmed it beforehand. However, when I arrived, they couldn’t find my appointment and told me that they were out of the vaccine I came for. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful, which only added to my frustration. I really expected a smoother process given that they offer so many services, including vaccines and preventative care. Communication is key, and I think they really need to improve how they handle scheduling to avoid this sort of situation in the future. I left feeling disappointed and without my vaccination, which was the whole point of my visit!
