I wasn’t expecting such a warm welcome when I walked into the store in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The manager greeted me right away, which was nice! However, after browsing for a while, I found the vibe a bit flat. Some music playing might liven things up, and it’d be great if the cashiers engaged a little more too. Still, if you’re looking for affordable body care like Dove soaps or a fun Easter decoration, it’s a decent spot. Just could use a sprinkle of energy!

I walked in with high hopes of finding some affordable health and body care essentials at Dollar Tree, but I was left a bit disappointed. The selection was decent, and I did spot some good finds like the Dove Gentle Exfoliating Bar Soap and the B-Pure Hydrogel Eye and Lip Masks, but the organization of the store felt chaotic. Items were scattered everywhere, making it tough to really dig into what I wanted. I believe a little tidying up could turn this place around since it has the potential to be a real gem for budget-friendly wellness products. Overall, I think they just need to improve the cleanliness and layout to make shopping an enjoyable experience.

What sets them apart from other stores in Bedford-Stuyvesant is the sheer variety—especially when it comes to body care products. I was really excited to pick up some essentials, like the BPure Body Lotion and the Dove Gentle Exfoliating Bar Soap. However, my last trip was a bit frustrating. I stumbled upon several expired products on the shelves, and when I brought it up to the staff, the initial response felt a little dismissive. Thankfully, a newer employee stepped in and handled the situation much better, offering a refund for the expired items, which was nice. Just a suggestion—maybe they should take a closer look at the expiration dates while stocking? Overall, not a bad shopping experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
