I can’t help but feel a bit disappointed after my recent visit to Dignity Health Medical Group Family Medicine - St. Joseph’s in Encanto Village, Phoenix. I went in for a follow-up on new medication, hoping for a smooth experience, but I discovered that my doctor had left the practice, and I wasn’t informed ahead of time. It felt a bit like I walked into a surprise party without knowing what I was celebrating. The staff seemed nice enough, but they didn’t have much information about the change, which left me feeling a bit uninformed and confused. I believe better communication about staff changes could really enhance the patient experience here. Despite the hiccup, I appreciate their commitment to family medicine and look forward to seeing how they improve in the future.

I didn’t expect such a mixed experience during my visit. While the care my family member received did keep them alive, it felt very much like the priorities were misplaced. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and unfortunately, that showed in their interactions, which I found quite unprofessional at times. I really wanted a more empathetic approach to care—something that not only prioritizes survival but also focuses on overall health and well-being. It would make such a difference if they could pay a bit more attention to the quality of care provided. I hope they can improve this moving forward.

I didn’t expect to spend what felt like an eternity in the waiting room for a simple cortisone injection. 😩 I mean, I know everyone has off days, but I was there for over an hour in Phoenix's Encanto Village. By the time I finally got called back, I was seriously reconsidering if this was all worth it for some pain relief. I really just wanted to get in, get it done, and get back to my day. It would be fantastic if they could streamline the process a bit—I’d love to see a real improvement next time. Here’s to hoping! 🤞
