Dharma Yoga Center

I was pleasantly surprised by the reputation this place has, but my experience left me feeling quite disappointed. I attended a yoga class led by Dharma Mittra expecting a supportive environment where I could work on my practice, especially after dealing with some physical injuries. Unfortunately, the atmosphere felt a bit unprofessional, and there was little acknowledgment of the diverse backgrounds of the students. There were moments when I felt out of place and even humiliated, as the instructions did not cater to those of us who are still on our journey. I believe they could significantly improve by being more aware of the impact their methods have on learners. I hope they can take another look at how they engage with their students and create a more inclusive space for everyone, especially those of us looking to heal and grow.

I recently completed the 200-hour Dharma Teacher Training, and I can honestly say it was a transformative experience. The teachers are not only friendly but truly passionate about sharing their wisdom, which creates an environment ripe for personal growth. Each session was a blend of challenging asanas, profound yoga philosophy, and guided meditations that fostered a deep connection to both the practice and myself. My understanding of yoga has expanded immensely, and I feel more grounded and centered in my daily life. If you're on a journey of self-improvement or looking to dive deeper into yoga, I highly recommend exploring the offerings at the Dharma Yoga Center. It has become a sacred space for me, and I can't wait to return for more workshops and classes!

After experiencing a private yoga session, I have to say I felt a mix of emotions. The instructor really knew their stuff and the care they took in guiding me through the poses was commendable. However, there were moments when the communication about class timings was a bit off, which left me feeling more than a little confused. I think improving customer service would really enhance the experience. It's such a great place with potential, and I'm hopeful things can get a bit smoother next time!
