It’s hard to recommend the City of San Antonio's health services after my recent visit. I was really looking forward to getting some assistance, but the attitude of the front desk staff left a bad taste in my mouth. Amanda, the practitioner I saw later, was knowledgeable, but the rude reception I received at the start really overshadowed the overall experience. I hope they can work on creating a friendlier atmosphere; a smile can go a long way in the healthcare world, especially in Highland Park.

If you’re looking for a place to get some serious health services, I’d say this clinic gets the job done, but not without some bumps along the way. I was trying to help out a friend who needed testing, and while the process was mostly straightforward, there were definitely moments that felt more frustrating than needed. The staff I spoke with over the phone were really friendly and accommodating, but I can’t say the same about the security personnel. Their approach felt quite unfriendly and rude, which added a layer of stress to an already sensitive situation. I think they could really benefit from some training on approachability, just to make the experience smoother for everyone. Overall, a neutral visit—it served its purpose, but there's definitely room for improvement.
