However, once the massage began, I realized I might've got a little more 'deep tissue' than my back could handle. The therapist, while lovely and polite, just seemed to enjoy applying pressure like it was her new workout routine! Sure, the techniques were impressive, but I felt like a pretzel being twisted in knots. I think a more gentle touch could've done wonders for my sciatic pain without leaving me wincing.
