To say I’m impressed with Buena Vida Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Bushwick, Brooklyn would be an understatement! I had heard such wonderful things about their empathetic approach to care, so when my mother needed some rehabilitation support, we decided to give them a try. Upon entering the facility, I was greeted by friendly staff members who made us feel right at home, which was such a relief. The team, especially Carla and Roman, provided such uplifting care that it felt like we were part of a family rather than just patients. They walked us through the rehabilitation programs, tailored to my mom’s specific needs, and I couldn’t believe the progress she made in just a few weeks. Beyond the care, they offer excellent additional services, like nutrition counseling, which helped us manage her diet as part of her recovery. I truly appreciate how they focus on improving independence and not just healing the body. Dr. Sinha checked in regularly, ensuring everything was on track and providing valuable insights. Plus, the friendly environment extended beyond just the therapists—everyone from the receptionists to the aides was cheerful and helpful. This place is a gem, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality rehabilitation services.

What really upset me about my experience here in Bushwick was the lack of proper care after my surgery. I was hopeful going in for post-surgery and bariatric care, but the staff's unprofessional behavior and inadequate attention meant I had to be transferred back to the hospital almost immediately. It was frustrating, especially when all I wanted was a smooth recovery. I left feeling incredibly let down, and honestly, I think it's best to consider other options if you're looking for reliable post-operative care in the area. There's definitely room for improvement here.
