I’ve always loved being able to feel reassured when it comes to the care of family, but my experience at Balch Springs Nursing Home left me deeply disappointed. Upon entering, I was hopeful, but my concerns quickly grew as I witnessed poor communication among the staff, particularly with my family member's care plan. There were moments when it felt like safety protocols were more of a suggestion than a requirement. I reached out for help, but interactions with the staff, including Norma and Robin, felt unprofessional and dismissive. It was disheartening, knowing that I was entrusting them with someone's well-being. I believe that improving communication with families could make a world of difference here, as could a genuine commitment to ensuring proper patient care and safety. It’s frustrating to feel like a burden when all you want is peace of mind for someone you love.
