As I walked into Asphalt Green in Manhattan, I was really looking forward to some serious swimming practice. However, much to my disappointment, they refused me entry to the pool for the lap swim. I understand that places have rules, but the way I was treated by the staff didn't help matters. It felt unhelpful and frustrating, particularly when all I wanted was to get a good workout in. I hope they can review their entry policies to make it a smoother process for everyone. It's a shame because I've heard great things about their various swimming programs.
