Initially, I had high hopes when I joined Argus Community in the Bronx for their recovery program. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I anticipated. While I truly believe in the importance of recovery, I felt a distinct lack of support not only for me but for my family as well. The high participant failure rate was alarming, and it became clear that the program wasn't as effective as it claims to be. I also found the staff interactions to be unprofessional, which only added to my frustration. I really think they need to boost support for families and enhance the effectiveness of their programs. It's a shame because I genuinely wanted this place to work for me.

I walked in full of hope, excited to find a supportive program that could really help me. However, I left feeling quite disappointed. It felt more like we were a burden than clients deserving of support. For a place that should provide guidance and a lifeline, my hopes were dashed. There’s a lot of room for improvement, especially in how staff interacts. I wish they would foster a more caring atmosphere and really focus on helping those left in challenging situations. It's sad that what could have been a vital resource turned out to be such a letdown.
