American Specialty Health

I’ve been going to American Specialty Health for acupuncture whenever I can, but honestly, I’m feeling pretty frustrated. 😕 Despite my insurance premium, I seem to have limited access to services. I’m hoping they can increase the number of approved visits because acupuncture really helps with my wellness. The staff interactions have also left a lot to be desired, which is a bummer because I was really looking forward to this being a great experience. Here’s to hoping they step it up!

I initially had high hopes for the referral services in Sorrento Valley, especially with so many promising options for acupuncture and physical therapy. However, what I encountered was quite disappointing. The communication with the staff was inefficient, which added to my frustration when trying to navigate the specialty healthcare referrals. The response time left much to be desired, and I found myself waiting longer than expected to get the assistance I needed. It feels like they could use a serious overhaul in their payment process too. As someone eager to take charge of my health, I really wanted this experience to be smooth and supportive. Hopefully, they can work on these areas soon because the services themselves seem solid on paper!

From the start, I encountered issues with billing that left me scratching my head. It felt like every time I tried to clarify a charge, I was speaking a different language with the support team. I found the staff to be quite ineffective in resolving these issues, which only added to my frustration. I really think they could benefit from revamping their customer service approach and ensuring their billing is accurate from the get-go. It’s a shame because I genuinely hoped to have a positive experience. I haven’t given up completely on acupuncture or chiropractic care, but I’ll definitely be looking for a place that values clear communication and accurate billing in the future.
