Amazon Pool

After my first visit to one of the local pools in Eugene, I was pretty excited to join in on some water fitness classes. I mean, who wouldn't want to splash around and get fit at the same time? 😅 However, the experience was a bit of a letdown. I found it tough to access the pool due to what seemed like poor management of the capacity. There were a lot of people trying to get in, and it felt like the staff was a bit overwhelmed and not very coordinated. I left feeling frustrated because I couldn’t even get a good workout in! I think they could really improve with better staff accountability and managing the flow of people. I’d love to give it another chance in the future, but hope they can sort these issues out first. ❤️

One thing I love about Amazon Pool in Eugene is the fantastic outdoor vibe you get while working out! 🌊 I’ve tried several of their water aerobics classes, and honestly, it's such a refreshing way to get your fitness in, especially when the sun is shining. The instructors are super knowledgeable, and I appreciate how they tailor exercises for everyone's needs—especially with options for those of us dealing with arthritis. Plus, the splash of the water makes it feel less like a workout and more like a fun day at the pool! Can't recommend it enough! 😊

I couldn't believe how popular this outdoor pool was during the summer! I took my child there recently for a fun day of swimming, only to find myself waiting in a long line just to get in. While the facilities are fantastic and the water fitness classes looked great, like the Aqua Tone and water aerobics, it was a bit frustrating that there wasn’t a reservation system in place. Maybe they could improve capacity management to keep things moving. Overall, we enjoyed our time once we finally got in, but I hope they can enhance the experience for families looking to have some recreational fun in Eugene!
