I walked in to Alum Rock Hair & Nails feeling excited for a fresh new hair color, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t what I hoped for. While the staff was friendly, I felt like my requests were not really heard. I asked for a subtle balayage and ended up with a lot more damage than I bargained for. My hair feels dry and frizzy now, and I expected a more attentive service for the price I paid. Communication is key, and this visit reminded me of that. Maybe if they listened a bit more or had some better follow-up questions, it could have gone differently. Overall, I left feeling frustrated, and I might have to think twice before returning. 😕
