To my surprise, the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center wasn't the haven of support I had hoped for during my recent mental health treatment. I get that managing mental health is complex, but abruptly changing long-term diagnoses and medication seems counterproductive. I left feeling more confused than ever, and a tad angry, honestly. It's crucial for care providers to be consistent, especially when you’re trying to navigate anxiety and depression. While the staff are friendly, I think they could benefit from a bit more training on continuity in care. Here’s hoping they improve their approach soon.
